The Defender Pro is suitable for age groups 12-Adult*. It also offers the Streamline Design, but with a third layer added for extra protection of the delicate edges of the front teeth. It is suggested for heavy contact sports or where stick contact could take place, such as field hockey, football, rugby, ice hockey, and lacrosse.

They reflect the level of protection and number of layers each type provides. We strongly recommend the Defender Varsity based on its level of protection, and because it includes the Streamline Design, which allows for clear communication and easy breathing during game play.
